• Maintaining a proper welding procedure - including pre-heat and interpass temperatures - may be criticaldepending on the type and thickness of steel being welded.
• See Above: This information was determined by welding using 75% Ar/25% CO2 shielding gas with a flow ratebetween 35-50 cfh (17-24 l/min). When welding using higher CO2 shielding gas mixtures within the recommendedrange or 100% CO2 shielding gas, increase voltage by approximately 1-3 volts.
• All positrons include: Flat, Horizontal, Vertical Up, and Overhead.
STORAGE
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Fast-freezingslag
• Excelent slag removal
• Very low spatter levels
• Very smoth, stable "spray-ike'' arc
• ''H8'' low-hydrogen weld deposit
• Optimal on Argon/CO2-mixes but also runs great on 100% CO2
• Alows good puddle controland bead shape when welding out of position• Reduces clean-up time and minimizes risk of inchlusion
• Reduces clean-up time to help improve productivity
• Provldes excelent operator appeal and bead appearance• Helps minimize the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking
• Increased flexibilty
